Kendon Packaging
For a UK packaging group with several product brands: an Adobe Commerce / Magento storefront with a companion mobile app, multi-site management across the brands and product management, built by a team of eight in six months.
A US-based distributor serving customers across Southeast Asia was taking orders by phone, email and spreadsheet, with pricing that depended on who the customer was and an ERP nobody outside finance could see. We replaced the manual process with a B2B portal on OroCommerce, wired live to the ERP.

B2B distribution has rules that consumer commerce platforms do not understand: one customer is a parent company with branches that order separately but settle centrally; prices depend on contract, volume and region; quotes need approval before they become orders; and stock lives in an ERP that must stay the system of record.
The client wanted to stop running all of that through people and inboxes, and to see what was happening across the business without asking for a report.
OroCommerce was chosen because these rules are native to it rather than bolted on.
| Challenge | What we did |
|---|---|
| Fragmented ordering and offline sales | One B2B commerce portal for every customer and branch |
| Complex customer-specific pricing | Dynamic pricing and catalogue rules by account, contract and region |
| Manual quote and approval process | RFQ and approval workflows inside the portal |
| No ERP visibility for sales or customers | Real-time ERP integration for inventory, pricing and order status |
| No actionable insight | Centralised reporting and dashboards |
Orders move through the system a third faster because nobody retypes them; the errors that came from retyping have fallen with them; and customers who used to phone in now log in, which shows up as higher engagement and a clearer picture of demand for the client.
Delivered with a partner agency; the end client is not named. Figures are those published with the partner's agreement.
